Our service coordinates your child's prescriptions and over the counter medications with his camp to create customized dosing packets of multiple medications. We dispense the medications into the personalized packets and ship them directly to camp before sessions begin.
Step 1: Register for CampRx
Register for CampRx online, or print our Mail-Order Packet from the Resource Center for Parents. Your camp does not need to be registered with CampRx for you to take advantage of our services.
Step 2: Prescription Submission
Mail your child's prescription(s) to CampRx. Prescriptions must be received 30 days prior to the start of the camp session. We recommend that you mail your order 60 days before the start of camp.
Order Acknowledgement - You will receive an email confirmation stating that CampRx has received your camper's prescription(s) as soon as it arrives. We will then begin to review the camper's order. If any additional information is needed to complete the order, CampRx will contact you either through the email address provided, or via phone call. If no further information is needed, we will begin to process the camper's order in preparation to be sent directly to his or her camp.
Step 4: Order Shipped Directly to Camp
Order Shipped Directly to Camp - When your order has shipped, CampRx will notify both you (by email) and your child's camp, that your pre-packaged medication is on the way. You can expect your child's medications to be at camp upon your campers' arrival if your packet was received 30 days prior to your camper's start date.
Step 5: Billing
Billing - An e-invoice (itemized bill) for your order will be sent to you via email, after all billing is complete.

Our service costs parents between $15 - $40, depending on the type of medication and length of stay at camp.
$15 for campers with only over-the-counter medications
$30 for campers at camp up to 1 month
$40 for campers at camp for longer than 1 month
These charges are in addition to the campers' prescription copays and/or cost of the camper's over-the-counter medications.
For an additional $10 CampRx will call your Physician's office to obtain the necessary prescriptions for your camper. Please contact us for more information about this service.
CampRx is always free to camps. However, some camps choose to subsidize the cost of the CampRx service for their campers in order to recognize the significant time-saving and risk management benefits that we bring to their operations.
